The Sheraton Metairie New Orleans Hotel is just off the south shore of pristine Lake Pontchartrain and only minutes from downtown New Orleans and its myriad of attractions. The hotel is eight miles from the clubs and cafes of the French Quarter and the Louisiana Superdome and within walking distance of the restaurants, bars and shops of Fat City, Metairie's version of the French Quarter. The Bayou Oaks Golf Facility in City Park, four miles away, includes four 18-hole golf courses.

This contemporary hotel's modern lobby features sleek glass walls and a polished stone floor. The popular Hedges Bar and Grill in the hotel serves breakfast buffets and a la carte orders, lunch and dinner, which features signature jumbo stuffed Gulf shrimp and the chef's award-winning pan-fried crawfish cakes.
