The Outrigger Reef on the Beach stands along Waikiki Beach amid Honolulu, Hawaii's active dining, nightclub and entertainment district. Fort DeRussy Park is located adjacent to the hotel.

An expansive two-story lobby leads to two dining venues, the oceanfront Shore Bird restaurant, and the Ocean House seafood and steakhouse restaurant. Live music is performed nightly. Karaoke crooners compete at the Shore Bird restaurant. A Starbucks outlet serves specialty coffee drinks and pastries.
