Sterling Resorts - Sterling Sands is located on a white-sand beach overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Destin, Fla. Big Kahuna's water park and adventure park is one-half mile away. The Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club, a semi-private golf course, is three miles from the resort. The Naskart Raceway is four miles from the property.This oceanfront resort features a 70-foot heated pool, outdoor spa tub and a barbecue patio area. The Silver Dollar Beach Club, a poolside deli open seasonally, serves brunch, lunch and afternoon snacks. Deli and grocery delivery services are available. A facility for conferences, meeting or receptions offers event catering and panoramic Gulf views. Beach service at the resort's private beach is available in season. Other amenities include complimentary DVD rentals and wireless Internet access throughout the property.
Condominiums at Sterling Sands feature balconies facing the Gulf of Mexico. All units offer full kitchens, living areas and cable television with DVD players. From Okaloosa Air Terminal:
Go 85 south (left) out of Airport parking lot.
Stay on Highway 85 through the city of Shalimar and Fort Walton.
This will dead end into Highway 98.
Go east towards Destin.
You will be approximately 15 miles from Destin at this point.
Once you come into Destin, Sterling Sands is about 2.3 miles on Highway 98 across from Blockbuster Video.
