The La Quinta Resort & Club - The Waldorf-Astoria is located in La Quinta, Calif. The resort stands in the shadows of the Santa Rosa Mountains and is surrounded by championship golf courses and world-class tennis courts. With a Spanish hacienda design amid palms, citrus trees, flowers and cacti, the resort is less than 20 miles from Palm Springs yet close to the Living Desert, a 1,200-acre garden and refuge where visitors can see desert plants in bloom, cheetahs, camels, mountain lions and giraffes in natural habitats. The La Quinta Resort & Club - The Waldorf-Astoria is close to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the Palm Springs Convention Center.

Hotel Features.
The resort features 41 outdoor pools, 53 spa tubs, croquet, aerobics, yoga, running and bicycling. The Spa La Quinta contains 36 treatment rooms with desert healing waters and restorative botanicals. Guests can dine at one of the hotel restaurants, including authentic Mexican cuisine at Adobe Grill and sushi by NO-DA-TE.
