The metro connects the airport with Newcastle's central train station, Sunderland and Gateshead. Trains depart every seven minutes and the fare is 2 GBP for a single journey. Getting around.
The Royal Station Hotel is on Neville Street, next to the railway station. An efficient and inexpensive metro system serves Newcastle, North and South Tyneside, Gateshead, and Sunderland. Bus services operate within the city centre, and ferries run every 30 minutes to North and South Shields.
