Driving Directions

Underground lines and the Heathrow Express rail service both connect the airport with London Paddington station, from where trains run to Newbury, although it may be necessary to change at Reading. Alternatively, bus services run directly from the airport to Reading station (fare approx. 10 GBP). A taxi from the airport will cost approximately 60 GBP. Newbury is compact and best explored on foot. Regular train services run to London via Reading, from where connecting services run to Manchester and Birmingham. Newbury Racecourse is one stop from Newbury Station. Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs for the M4 motorway. Follow the M4 westbound to junction 13 and then join the A339 to Newbury. Head straight across the four roundabouts and then follow the signs to Southampton/Winchester. At the fifth roundabout, take the first left and follow the signs to Newbury Retail Park. Continue straight on at the first mini roundabout, and take the second exit at the next mini roundabout. The hotel is located behind the Tesco superstore.
