Mercure Hythe Imperial is a six-floor Victorian hotel surrounded by 50 acres of land and situated in the seaside town of Hythe, four miles from the centre of Folkestone. London Gatwick Airport is 71 miles from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 75 minutes.

Set in 50 acres, the hotel features a nine-hole golf course, croquet, putting and bowling green. The landscaped gardens run down to the Napoleonic Military Canal. The full-service health spa offers ultimate relaxation with a sauna, steam room, massage and beauty treatments. Guests can exercise in the indoor pool and gym or practise their serve on the tennis and squash courts. The hotel has six conference rooms with a maximum capacity for 300 delegates. Driving Directions

Getting there.
The Gatwick Express train service runs to London Victoria Station. Guests can catch a train to Folkestone Central Station. From here it s a 10-minute taxi ride to the hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs approximately 70 GBP.

Driving directions. From the airport take the Ring Road North. Join the M23 (signposted London, Brighton). Leave the M23 at junction 8 and join the M25 (signposted Dartford, Maidstone). Join M26 (signposted Maidstone, Channel Tunnel, Dover). Continue on to the M20. Leave the M20 at junction 11 and at the roundabout take the third exit on to the B2068 (signposted Hastings, Hythe). Take the A20, then A261 towards Hythe. On entering Hythe, turn left at the traffic lights in to Military Road. Continue onto Rampart Road (A259). At the roundabout take the third exit onto East Street. Turn right on to Twiss Road opposite the Bell Inn. The hotel is straight on.
