Location.
Set just off the M42 motorway northeast of Birmingham, the Ramada Birmingham East A42s is a modern red-brick hotel spread over two floors and located twelve miles from the National Exhibition Centre. Birmingham International Airport (BHX) is 16 miles away and takes approximately 20 minutes to reach by car.

Hotel Features.
Guests can start the day with a continental breakfast (surcharge) in the hotel's restaurant. 24-hour room service and laundry facilities are available and there are conference rooms suitable for up to 120 people. Complimentary onsite parking is provided.

The Ramada Birmingham East Hotel houses an informal, modern restaurant serving a range of Bistro- style dishes. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lounge Bar offers snacks and light meals.

Expert Tip.
Tamworth Castle, located five miles from the hotel, was built in the 11th century by the Normans and overlooks the River Tame. It is one of the best preserved motte-and-bailey castles in England.

Driving Directions

Getting there.
Skyrail links the airport directly to Birmingham International Train Station and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). It runs every two minutes from Terminal 1. Black cabs provide a 24-hour service from the official rank outside the airport passenger terminals and cost approximately GBP 20 to the hotel. Local buses link the airport to the surrounding district.

Driving directions. From junction 11 on the M42 take the A444 to Nuneaton. Follow signs for Services/Hotel and the hotel entrance is immediately on the left.
