From Landvetter Airport (GOT):

Getting there.
A shuttle bus runs between the airport and central Gothenburg, and a single ticket costs 80 SEK. The shuttle bus stops outside the hotel. During peak hours, buses run every 15 minutes. Buses number 615 and 616 travel to nearby towns, including Rävlanda and Landvetter. Taxis are available from outside the airport and the fare to central Gothenburg is around 325 SEK. Prices are sometimes fixed, so check before departing. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around.
Walking is the best way to explore central Gothenburg. Trams and buses are available throughout the city, and integrated daily tickets can be used on trams, buses, and ferries. Centralstationen Göteborg station is 600 metres from the hotel.

Driving directions. Depart Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. Follow the signposts to Gothenburg and continue for about 160 metres.
Turn right onto Boråsleden 40. Follow the signs towards Centrum. Leave 40 Exit no70 Kallebäcksmotet E20/E6. Follow signs to Gårda S. Leave for Exit no71 Örgrytemotet E20/E6. Keep to your left Örgrytevägen. Turn left at the roundabout Södra Vägen. Turn left onto Nya Allén. Turn right at Raoul Wallenbergs gata. Continue onto Västra Hamngatan. Turn right onto Vallgatan for Avalon Hotel.
