The H10 Conquistador Hotel is a large, modern complex situated in the residential part of Playa de las Americas on the beachfront, 45 kilometres from Teide volcanic mountain. The hotel's 485 air-conditioned guestrooms have light, contemporary decor with patterned fabrics and wood furnishings including coffee tables, dressing tables and chairs. All offer satellite television, telephones and safes. The half-board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
The hotel's main restaurant serves dishes from an international assortment of cuisines via a buffet, and is open for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is available at the poolside Bar Choza featuring barbequed food, and snacks are also available at the Piano Bar where live music and cabarets are performed regularly. A variety of bars are located around the hotel, including the pool bar and Bar Teide. The hotel also has two large lagoon-style swimming pools, one of which has a bar situated at its centre. There is also a Thalassotherapy centre where jetted tubs, Turkish baths and steam baths are available, as well as health and beauty massage treatments. Boutiques and souvenir shops are also located onsite. There is a pool that is just for the kids, and they have their own playground area and an activity club called Miniclub Daisy that will keep them entertained. Around the hotel are many of the Playa de las Americas attractions, including Torviscas Market and a water park, one kilometre from the hotel. Aguilas del Teide Ecological Park is eight kilometres away. Tenerife Reina Sofia South Airport is 15 kilometres (nine miles) from the hotel.
Please note guests staying over Christmas and New Year's Eve must at tend the events held on these days. The cost of entrance is included in the hotel rates for the 24th and 31st of December.

Driving Directions

Taxis are available outside Arrivals and charge around 50 EUR to Santa Cruz de Tenerife or around 20 EUR to Playa de las Américas. Buses leave regularly from the airport to the central bus station in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at La Avenida Marítima, North Tenerife Airport (for inter- island flights), Los Cristianos and other destinations on the island. Taxis on the island are relatively cheap, and there is also a bus network that services most of the main site of interest.
