Location.
The Summa Estrada is located just outside La Estrada, Spain, five kilometres from the River Ulla and 22 kilometres from Santiago de Compostela, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hotel Features.
The Summa Estrada is an impressive, white stone, modernist building and features a curved glass entrance, white walls and dark, polished floors featuring 1920s-style red leather sofas. The outdoor pool has adjacent gardens and a minimalist sun terrace. Complimentary parking is offered and complimentary newspapers are available.

The two restaurants at the Estrada feature large windows and bright, modern decor. Buffet and a la carte menus offer Spanish cuisine and international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is complimentary. The modern black-and-white bar serves drinks and snacks. Half-board and full-board rate plans are also offered (not including drinks).

There is a games rooms and library at the hotel, while billiards can be played in the bar.

Driving Directions

Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ):
Distance to Summa Estrada is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there.
Buses run regularly between the airport and Santiago de Compostela bus station, from where buses can be caught to La Estrada. Single tickets cost 1.50 EUR to Santiago de Compostela. Taxis are available outside the main terminal and cost about 15 EUR to Santiago de Compostela station, and 50 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. La Estrada is small and easy to navigate on foot. There are bus services serving the rest of Galicia, but a car is recommended for fully exploring the area.
