Location.
The Occidental Grand Teguise Playa is a modern, Mediterranean hotel situated beside the beach in the Costa Teguise resort. The local golf course is two kilometres away and Timanfaya National Park is 40 kilometres away. Lanzarote Guacimeta Airport (ACE) is 88 kilometres from the hotel and takes approximately 90 minutes to reach by car.

Hotel Features.
The hotel has seven swimming pools which are connected by waterfalls. Two are children's pools, and there is also a kids' play area. Guests can play billiards, ping-pong and giant chess, or relax in several bars or the games room. There are squash and tennis courts on site, as well as a mini-golf course and fitness room. For total relaxation, the hotel has its own beauty salon with massage services, a jetted tub and a sauna, and evening entertainment is provided. Business guests can make use of the conference rooms. Further amenities include onsite shopping and laundry facilities.

The Occidental Grand Teguise Playa offers three dining options: the informal, modern El Jabilo restaurant serves an international buffet; Grill Barbacoa is a relaxed restaurant serving grilled meats; and Estrella is a pool bar offering snacks and drinks.

Expert Tip. Cueva de Los Verdes, located 21 kilometres from the hotel, is a series of caves formed from volcanic eruptions over 3,000 years ago, which left lava streams ranging from one kilometre to six kilometres in length. The cave walls are a kaleidoscope of different colours and one of the galleries had been converted into a concert hall.

Getting there. There are taxi ranks outside the Arrivals terminal at the airport, and buses run from the airport to Arrecife-Playa Honda station.
