Formerly part of a vanilla farm, the Chateau St Cloud is a colonial estate set at the foot of a mountain amid tropical gardens populated by giant tortoises, within two kilometres of the Anse Source d'Argent beach. The 17 guestrooms extend to balconies and feature white decor with blue fabrics and pine furnishings. Driving Directions

From the airport, take a boat to La Digue jetty and then a taxi to the hotel. The principal modes of transport on the island are ox-cart and bicycle. Taxis are also available.
