Dating back to the late 19th century, the Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica is grand four-storey hotel set among the hills of Oslo and offering views across the city, situated five kilometres from Tryvann ski centre. Oslo Airport is 50 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

Getting there: Airport Express train services operate every ten minutes between Oslo Airport and the central train station, from where trams run to Holmenkollen station. Oslo's extensive transport network includes the subway, buses and trams, while a car is useful for Journey's further-afield.
