Set among the greenery of Lillehammer's Olympic Park, the Birkebeineren Hotel Motel is a traditional-style, red wood building with modern facilities, only one kilometre from the town centre. It features 40 guestrooms over two floors, with light decor, wood flooring and furnishings, and black-and-white framed prints. All include satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial phones, complimentary wireless Internet and hair dryers.

Guests can cook on the hotel's barbeque, while children have the use of their own playground. After a day's activities visitors can wind down in the on-site sauna. Driving Directions

The airport train station runs services directly to Lillehammer. The journey takes between 1.5 to two hours, and trains runs at least every other hour during the day. Driving directions: From the airport take the E6 north to the centre of Lillehammer. Then follow signs to the Olympiaparken and at the roundabout turn right towards Lysgardsbakkene Hoppanlegg. The hotel is straight ahead.
