Secluded along a powdery white-sand beach 23 kilometers south of Cancun's hotel zone, the adults-only Paraiso de la Bonita Resort & Thalasso is located in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

Hotel Features.
The resort's restaurants and bars include La Canoa, where chefs pair international wines with signature cuisine, including smoked-duck salad and lobster bisque with seafood quenelles. Kaax serves fresh-grilled selections prepared on a wood fire, whereas the open-air El Chiringuito is known for its traditional Chilpachole stew. Hippos Bar overlooks the pool and the ocean. Bartenders welcome special drink orders and serve a menu of light snacks. A 22,000-square-foot spa bases holistic treatments on Roman and Greek theories of saltwater therapy. Cooled with traditional wood-paddle ceiling fans, guestrooms feature furnished terraces or Juliet balconies with Caribbean Sea views. Antiqued, blue-toned furniture predominates, including an entertainment center that contains a 27-inch television and a CD/DVD player. A complimentary bottle of tequila is offered as a welcome amenity. Bedrooms feature a second television and platform beds draped in Italian Frette linens.
