This brand-new resort is located right on Flamingos Beach in Bucerias, just north of Puerto Vallarta. Playa del Sol offers a variety of accommodations from studio suites to 2-bedroom, condo-style apartments. The resort is set on almost 500 feet of beachfront, with a large infinity pool that seems to fall right into the Pacific. There is even a swim-up bar and a restaurant by the pool. The immediate area is still under development, and the resort is away from the crowds. Guests can still stroll down the long, beautiful beach for miles, without encountering too many people. The Studio Suites have a kitchenette area, while the larger suites with separate bedrooms have a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. All units have a DVD, safe deposit box, satellite TV, and Tahitian-style hardwood furnishings. There is a casual restaurant onsite, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A second, fine dining restaurant served Italian specialties, steak and seafood in an exotic setting. Guests can stroll down the beach for more casual dining options, in a beachfront location.
