Location.
The Four Points by Sheraton Kuwait is located in the centre of Kuwait City, Kuwait, 100 metres from the Gold Souk, one kilometre from Dickson House, two kilometres from ice skating, and five kilometres from the Sharq Mall and Saddu House Museum.

Hotel Features.

The Four Points traditional, formal restaurant Asseef serves international dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Expert Tip. Dickson House, one kilometre from the hotel, was built in the 19th Century and owned by a Kuwait merchant until 1929, when Colonel Dickson, the British commissioner in Kuwait, moved in. It has 30 rooms and four main gates. Following the death of colonel Dickson's widow, Um Saud, in 1990, the mansion was taken care of by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, which is currently in charge of restoring it.

Distance to Four Points Hotel is 12 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there.
A complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport is offered by the hotel.

Getting around. Kuwait has a very cheap and extensive system of both local and intercity buses. There are also local taxis, but as these are not metered make a deal before starting out. Intern ational driving licenses need to be insured before they are valid.
