The Villa Campestri is housed in an attractive Renaissance Villa dating back to the Medicis surrounded by rolling Tuscan meadows, forests, olive groves and vineyards - it is 35 kilometres north of Florence. The 22 guestrooms have a warm rustic decor to compliment the Villa's original features, including: its wooden ceiling beams, stonewalls and terracotta floors. They are all equipped with telephones, cable television, Internet access, minibars, and hair dryers. After breakfast, guests of the hotel can relax with a drink in the lounge, access the Internet for business or leisure purposes or explore the Villa's original architectural features. When weather permits, there is also an outdoor swimming pool where guests can soak the sun and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the rolling Tuscan countryside. Driving Directions

Guests can take the train or bus from the Airport to Santa Maria Novella central station and from there a train to Vicchio di Mugello. At Vicchio di Mugello, guests are advised to contact the hotel which can then arrange a taxi costing approximately 15 EUR to get to the hotel. Car hire is highly recommended to explore the surrounding areas.
