Car rentals or taxis are available from the airport. An airport shuttle bus runs from the Arrivals terminal to the train station in Perugia. The central train station is Perugia Fontivegge. The immediate area is best navigated on foot, while a car or bicycle is useful for travel further afield. Driving directions: From the airport take SS75 for South Foligno/Spoleto. Exit for Santa Maria Degli Angeli Nord - Assisi. Drive through Santa Maria Degli Angeli for Assisi to San Pietro Car Parking. From here drive up the hill through San Francesco medieval gate to Assisi.
