Driving Directions

Getting there. Taxis can be found near the arrivals hall. The United Tour Bus no. 222 runs every hour to the El Al City Terminal and the central railway station, before stopping at all the major seaside hotels. There is also a train service from the airport to Tel Aviv and the journey takes less than 20 minutes. A reliable bus service with over 300 stops serves the city. Single-fare tickets are available from the driver and passes are also available. Taxis can be hailed in the street or booked in advance. The Sherutim shared taxi service is popular in the city and allows up to 12 passengers to get on and off at any point along its route. Driving is not recommended in the city.
