Getting there.
The airport has an underground railway station with shuttle trains to the city centre. The S-Bahn station is located on the terminal building's lower level. The fare for a single ticket is around 2 EUR, and the journey time is 20 minutes. Trains run from Dresden's central station to Bad Schandau. The taxi fare direct to the Elbresidenz Bad Schandau hotel is approximately 40 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around.
Bad Schandau is small enough to explore on foot. Buses and trains connect towns and cities throughout the region.

Driving directions. From Dresden Airport, follow Flughafenstrasse until the crossroads with Koenigsbruecker Landstrasse and turn right. Continue on the B97 in the direction of Dresden city centre. From Albertplatz, continue on the E55 in the direction of Prague, passing the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), until reaching Fritz-Foerster-Platz (university). Turn left and continue towards Pirna on the E172 (Zellscher Weg). Continue straight on for approximately 20 kilometres, following directions for Konigstein/Bad Schandau. At Bad Schandau, cross the bridge and continue to the city centre to find the Elbresidenz Bad Schandau hotel.
