The Pernera Beach Hotel is a modern resort hotel in landscaped grounds beside the beach in the Cypriot town of Pernera, located on the east coast, 80 kilometres from Nicosia. The 184 air-conditioned guestrooms, spread over four floors, have light pastel decor with functional furnishings with glass doors leading on to balconies. All have satellite television and direct-dial phones. Hair dryers and refrigerators available on request. The hotel features an outdoor pool with bar, and a children's pool, both surrounded by landscaped gardens. There is also an indoor pool open in the winter. Children can be occupied and entertained by the activities organised by the hotel's professional staff, whilst guests can relax in the sauna, massage room and whirlpool bath, or play in the games room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby, and there are conference and banqueting facilities onsite. Active guests can try their hand at a number of water sports on the adjacent beach, including windsurfing, jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing, and snorkelling. Taxis are available from the airport and charge around CYP25. Higher prices apply late evening and early morning. Intercity buses also connect the airport with all major towns and c ities in Cyprus.
